Welcome to Mishra Packers and Movers. By booking our services, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. We have kept them as clear and simple as possible to ensure there is no confusion on the moving day.

1. Quotation and Booking

The initial quote provided over a phone call or WhatsApp is an estimate based on the information you provide. The final, binding quote will be issued only after a physical or video survey of your belongings.

• Quotes are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
• To confirm a booking, a nominal token advance is required to block the date and vehicle.
• If the volume of items increases on the day of packing compared to the survey list, additional charges will apply.

2. Payment Terms

We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden charges. To ensure a smooth transaction, please follow our standard payment structure:

• Advance Payment: 10% to 20% of the total bill amount is required at the time of booking confirmation or starting the packing process.
• Final Settlement: The remaining balance must be cleared in full before the unloading of goods at the destination. We do not unload items on credit.
• Payments can be made via Cash, UPI, IMPS, or NEFT. Cheques are generally not accepted unless previously approved for corporate accounts.

3. Restricted and Prohibited Items

For legal and safety reasons, Mishra Packers and Movers will strictly NOT pack or transport the following items. It is the customer's responsibility to carry them personally:

• Cash, jewelry, and precious stones.
• Important personal documents (Passports, property papers, laptops, etc.).
• Flammable items, explosive materials, gas cylinders, or hazardous chemicals.
• Perishable items (fresh food, liquids that can leak, plants).

Note: We hold zero liability for the loss or damage of any such prohibited items if packed secretly in the boxes.

4. Transit Insurance & Damages

While our trained staff packs your goods with the highest quality materials (bubble wraps, foam, corrugated sheets) to prevent any scratches, unforeseen transit accidents can happen.

• Without Insurance: If you choose not to buy transit insurance, the company is not legally liable to pay any compensation for damages caused during transport (due to road accidents, bad weather, etc.).
• With Insurance: If you have opted for Transit Insurance (3% of declared goods value), any claim for damages will be processed directly through the insurance company. We will assist you with the necessary paperwork.
• Any claim for minor scratches or damages must be reported to us in writing within 24 hours of delivery.

5. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

We pride ourselves on on-time delivery. However, we shall not be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure). This includes:

• Heavy traffic jams, highway blockages, or border crossing delays.
• Natural disasters, heavy rains, or extreme weather conditions.
• Political strikes, riots, or government checkpoints holding the vehicle.

6. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your move:

• Cancellation requested 48 hours before the moving date: Full refund of the token advance.
• Cancellation requested within 24 hours of the moving date: Token advance will be forfeited to cover vehicle and labor booking losses.

7. Jurisdiction

All services provided by Mishra Packers and Movers are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. Any disputes arising out of these terms will be settled exclusively in Prayagraj.
